  1. Practical understanding of the fundamentals( and I say practical not just knowing the laws and principles governing nature but visualizing them in your mind)
  2. Design, how to add human factors and ergonomics to the design, and a deep understanding of fluid mechanics and CFD to make you design better-performing products.
  3. Empathy is the basis of all ethics and now lacking in the world and if you do any training or get a book on project management it is even the first step to developing an idea. So before you develop any idea first have empathy and ask yourself if I was in their shoes what would I feel, how will what I am doing affect all stakeholders both positively and negatively, and be truthful do not become a victim to confirmation bias
  4. Understand economics. Everything is scarce this is the basic rule of life and why economics is studied and this must be part of the engineer’s mind keep it in mind cannot just invent something and think it will work out by itself actually an innovation is an invention plus economics so do not be that person who thinks they will only look at the science those guys never win look at the economics
  5. logistics and procurement: Yes this stuff is everywhere and can make or break a country, organization, military, and technology and you cannot expand without it.
  6. Understand Human beings as they are everything I mean everything and you must work with them the better your relationship with people the better.
  7. Always learn. the day you stop learning that will be the day you stop rising up you need to keep learning and leveling up with valuable skills and knowledge and not just any knowledge but useful stuff not stuff like the 1000 numbers of pi.
